We live in a Bangladeshi neighborhood. That makes things easy.

We’ve been lucky because a number of our recent destinations have been located really close to home. Sim Sim, our Azerbaijani stop was one stop south of us on the F train. We found this week’s restaurants right outside of our own subway stop at Church Avenue in Brooklyn. Our neighborhood, Kensington, boasts a large Bangladeshi population. Just outside of the station are a number of grocery stores, coffee shops, travel agencies and music stores catering to the needs of this community. read more »
